Volkswagen of America has just announced official pricing for its all-new 2015 Golf GTI hot hatch. And much to everyone's enjoyment, VW raised the base price by just $195 over the previous model. $24,395 will get you the base GTI S two-door with a six-speed manual transmission. Standard equipment will include a TSI engine with 210 horsepower (up by 10hp) and 258 lb-ft of torque, touchscreen radio, leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, and LED foglights.

The six-speed dual-clutch gearbox costs an extra $1,100. Move up to the SE and Autobahn trims, which start at $27,395 and $29,595 respectively, and you'll get a rearview camera, automatic headlights and rain-sensing windshield wipers, among other features. The top-level GTI Autobahn is only available as a four-door, and it adds a navigation system, a 12-way power driver's seat and automatic A/C. Later this year, all new GTIs will be available with a Performance Package that adds larger front and rear brakes, an electronically-controlled limited-slip diff, and an extra 10 ponies – all for just $1,495.
