The 2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600 Just Became Armored And Untouchable

Reveal

Now, not even bullets can interrupt your serene Maybach experience.

A Toronto-based tuning firm, INKAS, justannounced that it has created the very first armored 2016 Mercedes-MaybachS600. From the outside, this opulent and timeless flagship sedan remainsvirtually unchanged. This time, however, there’s a lot more going on behind thescenes. Touting “a high level of ballistic protection,” this sedan is about tobecome the luxury barge of choice for potentially at-risk heads of state, paranoid billionaires, and at least one world-famous rapper who has “gotta lottaenemies.”

So what differentiates this example fromother Maybachs? If you can stomach the $500,000 USD price tag for thisdisgustingly lavish super-sedan, INKAS will fill your Maybach with a laundrylist of ostentatious safety features. This includes run-flat tires, a smoke-screensystem that seems like it should be in a James Bond movie and a fire-suppressionsystem that runs not only through the engine bay but the entire vehicle. Ifyou decide it’s time to fork up half a million dollars for these sort offeatures, you’ll also have the new Maybach delivered to you home by a companyrepresentative who will teach you about the numerous safety features of the carand teach you (or your chauffeur) defensive driving techniques.
