The Jeep Wrangler has been around for the better part of three decades, and in that time has evolved into a cult vehicle loved by millions across the globe. These rugged off-roaders take a no-nonsense approach to conquering mother nature, and offer features such as removable doors and roofs, as well as massive ground clearance and dedicated 4x4 systems. With the new Ford Bronco on its way, Jeep is fully aware of the threat this newcomer poses and is starting to roll out some cool new features. The 2021 Wrangler recently arrived with some upgraded tech, and now comes the news that half doors have been confirmed for this feisty little dirt goblin.

Half-doors have always been a much-desired accessory on the Jeep Wrangler, and after months of speculation amongst fans, the Jeep world can breathe a sigh of relief as the company recently previewed the doors on its Rubicon 392 Concept. These same doors were spotted on a car being tested in the wild, and finally, a production car was spotted with the same doors, all but confirming the rumors. Now Jeep has added them to the Wrangler's online configurator, and pricing has been revealed. The good news is that this exciting new option will be available on all trim levels of the Wrangler range, including two, and four-door vehicles.

The half doors will set new owners back $2,350 for two-door cars, and $3,995 for four-door models. Interestingly, the "Dual Door Group W/ Base Uppers" option includes both half doors, and a set of full doors. These 'half doors' in reality go up more than halfway and are more level with the frame line of the rear cargo area, but there's still a notable sense of 'openness', that should come in handy when trying to spot obstacles when going off-road.

These doors will prove to be a good compromise between having no doors at all (which can be a safety risk), or running the risk of damaging full doors when going off-road. Either way, they look really cool.
