The Acura NSX GT3 Looks Stunning In Bare Carbon And Sounds Even Better

Motorsport

Acura releases teaser for the debut of its new GT3 racer.

Acura is finally ready to debut the GT3 version of its new NSX. Said debut will officially occur at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course ahead of the Pirelli World Challenge and IndyCar races on August 3rd. Unfortunately for NSX fans, the car won't be competing in the Pirelli World Challenge event. Instead, Acura will show it off by doing a few parade laps around the course as well as a few laps at speed (we assume). The livery may not be finalized yet, but as we've said before the supercar looks absolutely stunning in bare carbon.

Acura assures us that the NSX GT3 is on track to pass all of its FIA mandated tests in time for the 2017 racing season. Until then, we have a brief 16-second teaser to hold us over. And man, does that turbocharged V6 sound good!
