There's a good reason why some automakers only make a limited number of certain models. The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione is one such example. Production started in 2007 and ended in 2010, and during that short time both a coupe and roadster (called the Spider) were built. Just 500 of each were built, despite there being more orders than what Alfa ever intended to fill. That was exactly the point, to create huge demand and short supply.

Powered by a 4.7-liter V8 with 477 horsepower, the 8C can go from 0-62 mph in 4.2 seconds and has a top speed of 181 mph. It may not be as fast or powerful as some Ferraris, but it was never intended to be. No, the 8C is in a league all its own (from a design perspective at least). That's just how things are when you're dealing with perfection.
