The legendary Toyota Land Cruiser is best-known for its reliability and off-road capability, but modern versions of this tough SUV also offer a ton of luxury and are driven by politicians and VIPs across the globe. The new Land Cruiser might not be available in the US (that may change soon), but the international tuning scene has already started modifying this big SUV, and there are even some armored versions rolling around. Back in September of 2021 we featured the SVI Engineering Land Cruiser, and now one of our other favorite armorers, Inkas, has released its latest offering, the armored Toyota Land Cruiser 300.

Inkas offers the armored Land Cruiser 300 in full factory trim, including the VXR, GXR, GR-Sport, and three factory engine choices, including the new turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 producing 409 horsepower. It provides BR6 level protection, which in layman's terms means occupants will be safe from high-power assault rifles and explosions from up to two DM51 hand grenades. To achieve this incredible level of protection, Inkas reinforces the Land Cruiser with engine bay armoring, increased protection for the battery and electric control module, a strengthened suspension system, run-flat tires, and encapsulates the entire cabin with armor.

These additions make the Land Cruiser 300 a serious VIP hauler, but for some, even these hardcore upgrades aren't enough. For those, Inkas offers additional upgrades such as a heavy-duty brake system and braking components, a fire suppression system, emergency lights if you're an official of some kind, heavy duty wheels to help you move out of a dangerous situation even when the wheels are being targeted, and a PA/intercom system to tell the peasants revolting against your corrupt dictatorship that they need to be thankful for what they've got. Inkas doesn't offer a public price for its armored Land Cruiser, but with prices for the car starting at $78,234 in the UK, we'd expect a final price of close to $200,000.
