Long after their European audience debuts, the 2022 Audi A3 and 2022 Audi S3 sedans will hit US dealerships later this year, sporting some impressive updates over the previous generation. These new models present bolder exterior styling than before, so it's fitting that Audi offers some fun colors to accentuate the aggressive lines.

Audi has already released full pricing on the A3 and S3, but a full configurator is not yet available. So we asked Audi what color options will be available, and the Four Rings marque was happy to oblige.

The 2022 A3's color palette includes Ibis White, Brilliant Black, Glacier White metallic, Mythos Black metallic, Manhattan Gray Metallic, Florett Silver Metallic, Tango Red Metallic, Navarra Blue Metallic, and Atoll Blue metallic. Several of these color options are pictured below, albeit on European-spec models.

While most of the A3's color choices are pretty tame, Tango Red and Atoll Blue (pictured above) are sure to grab people's attention. Audi mostly likes to keep its color options conservative while offering one or two bright hues on its smaller models like the A3. As for the sportier S3, it keeps mostly the same palette but adds two fun shades into the mix.

The S3 will come in Ibis White, Glacier White metallic, Mythos Black metallic, Daytona Gray metallic, Tango Red metallic, Navarra Blue metallic, Turbo Blue, and Python Yellow metallic. The latter is the most exciting color option and is pictured below on the Europe-only hatchback model. Turbo Blue is another cool option and is already offered in the US on the A4/A5 and S4/S5.

Sadly, there are no immediate plans to add Audi Exclusive paint options for the A3 and S3. The previous generation S3 offered a 25-unit run Exclusive Edition, finished in fabulous bright colors like Misano Red, Sepang Blue, Vegas Yellow, Viper Green, and Glut Orange. We hope Audi will offer something similar soon, but a spokesperson told CarBuzz, "we don't have anything to share at the moment." As for the high-performance RS3, it's already been spotted wearing a crazy green coat (likely Viper Green) while testing at the Nurburgring, so we expect its color palette to add a few special options.
