Revealed just last month, a special edition of the all-new Bentley Flying Spur has already arrived. Special edition model reveals from Bentley have started to become what seems like a weekly occurrence and at some point, we have to wonder if the word 'special' will start to lose its meaning for customers because every Bentley model will be special.

They are, however, exceedingly lovely and this latest example is called the Bentley Flying Spur First Edition, the very first example of which will be auctioned for charity at the inaugural Midsummer Party, Picozzi's Villa Dorane, on July 24.

Bentley made the announcement at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Gala, with 100% of the proceeds going to the pop star's charity organization. The blue example shown here is a pre-production model because whoever wins the car will have the opportunity to co-design their Flying Spur First Edition with Bentley's styling team. First Edition models will only be availablee for the first 12 months of Flying Spur production, so buyers will have one year to purchase one of these special edition models.

The First Edition includes unique touches including an exterior badge, front facia badge, Union Jack flag with the number one in the center, winged emblems embroidered into the headrests, special First Edition kick plate, and 22-inch Mulliner Driving Specification alloy wheels.

Under the hood, the 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 is unchanged, which is good news because it provides 626 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque going out through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. 0-60 mph takes just 3.6 seconds and the top speed is 207 mph. The first First Edition Flying Spur will likely sell for big money (with the proceeds going to charity) but the rest should cost only slightly more than a regular model, which has yet to receive official pricing.
