The Best 2 Volvos in Years Receive an Official Price Tag

But if you want one you'd better act fast.

Volvo is working extra hard to make a comeback. It’s not exactly outright luxury like, say, Audi or BMW, but it’s certainly a cut above Ford and even Buick. Part of this revitalization involves the 2015 S60 and V60 Polestar sedan and wagon, respectively. The pair was revealed earlier this year at the Chicago Auto Show and what’s so special about them is the power output and exclusivity. Only a combined total of 750 units are being made for the entire world. Just 120 will arrive in the US.

And now we have official pricing for these uber rare Swedish gems. The S60 sedan will start at $59,300 while the V60 wagon will begin at $60,900. There’s only one option for each: Black Sapphire or Rebel Blue exterior paint. Both are powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder that’s good for 345 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic, the sole gearbox option, sends power to all four wheels. 0-60 happens in 4.7 seconds (for the S60) and top speed is capped off at 155 mph. Oh, and one more thing: only 20 S60s are arriving in the US; the remaining 100 will be wagons.
