Cobra Technology & Lifestyle presents the Cobra VW T5 van. And no, it's not coming to the U.S.
Volkswagen still builds a cool van. Sadly, the T5 isn't sold in the U.S. And now there's the Cobra VW T5, which is an all-black and chrome van that features the work of accessory specialist Cobra Technology & Lifestyle, who is now offering an exclusive special model concept for all bodystyles of the T5. The package features various refinement levels like the Cobra Cityguard stainless-steel brush guards, chrome designed decals, LED daytime running lights, rear bumper and custom 20-inch wheels.
The Cobra Technology & Lifestyle roof rails are made from high-gloss stainless-steel and are available as custom sets for all vehicles with short or long wheelbases and with or without drip rails. The rear of the T5 van features the Cobra Black & Chrome Design that can be further upgraded with a chrome strip for the trunk and utilizes the Cobra Technology & Lifestyle stainless-steel rear guard. The interior of the T5 can be upgraded with stainless-steel scuff plates with backlit Cobra Technology & Lifestyle log. Buyers will also have the option of choosing a roof spoiler and rear spoiler.
There's also chrome-film decals on the sides and chrome-design mirror caps that add an even more striking appearance. The LED entrance lights are activated via the keyless fob or by simply pulling on a door handle. Sadly, U.S. buyers are stuck with the Routan, but if VW ever decides to bring the T5 stateside, tuning kits such as this would likely find a solid market.
