So you've seen the official pictures and specs, and have now decided that the new 2015 BMW M4 convertible is the car for you. The M4 coupe and M3 sedan are nice and all, but you really want that open roof experience. Like usual, you're going to have to pay extra for it. BMW has just released official pricing of the M4 convertible, which starts off at $73,425. Adding optional features will boost the price even further (carbon ceramic brakes alone cost an extra $8,150).

Now, the M4 coupe bases at $65,125. Do the quick math. That's quite a steep price to pay for air in your hair. What's more is that it's still unknown whether or not the M3/M4 will be subject to the gas-guzzler tax, causing the price tag to swell even further. The M4 convertible is also 525 lbs. heavier than the coupe, something else to consider before making the final choice.
