It comes with camouflage graphics you guys!
Chevrolet has introduced an upcoming special edition of the Silverado dubbed the Realtree. On sale in Spring 2016, the package equips the bog standard Z71 Silverado 1500 with exterior camouflage, Realtree seat embroideries, and a "murdered out" vibe including black bowties and 20-inch wheels. The interior features designs from Realtree, a large supplier and designer of camouflage products for the budding hunter or outdoorsman. The Realtree concept first debuted at the 2015 SEMA show. We know, try not to be shocked.
The Silverado serves as a commemorative vehicle to mark the decade long partnership between Chevrolet and Realtree. Equipped with the Z71 package as standard, the Realtree edition provides a 6.2-liter direct-injection V8 as an option and venerable 5.3-liter eight-cylinder as standard. The 6.2-liter provides 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful engine available for light-duty trucks. Towing capacity maxes at 11,700 pounds. Underbody shielding and Hill Descent Control are available as standard on the Z71 as are Rancho monotube shocks and standard locking differentials. All this seems fine and dandy for the discerning outdoorsman but Chevy, please give us a Raptor rival.
