Revealed earlier this year to much fanfare, David Brown Automotive's irresistibly cool Mini Remastered Marshall Edition is being shown to the public for the first time, and it is now available to order.

Built to celebrate the classic Mini and Marshall Amplification's 60th anniversary this year, the Mini Remastered Marshall Edition will be on display in Paris at the Citadium complex until December 12 as it makes its European debut.

It may be debuting in Europe and be limited to 60 examples, but both right and left-hand drive versions will be available, and they can be ordered directly via David Brown or its network of international distributors, which is good news for American Mini Cooper fans.

David Brown is well-known for its impeccable Remastered Minis, including the Oselli Edition, but the Marshall Edition is perhaps the company's most desirable creation yet.

The hand-built hatch has dark chrome exterior brightwork, Marshall Black paint, and painted accents that mirror the appearance of the British company's various audio products. Of course, the collaboration would be a waste if this Mini didn't come with a high-quality sound system from Marshall, and the eight-speaker unit with a pull-out DS1 Combo amp in the cargo area doesn't disappoint.

"Mini Remastered Marshall Edition is a stunning example of precision design and handmade quality, bringing two British brands together," said Michelle Gay from David Brown. "It is a modern rock and roll take on one of Britain's most iconic shapes, and we are delighted to bring it to the heart of Paris - the world's fashion and style capital."

Arthur Grison from Zound Industries, the distributor of Marshall Amplification in France, said, "we can't wait to see the response from the public during the car's star turn in Paris in the build-up to a very busy Christmas shopping period."

Pricing is only said to be available upon application, and we expect that it will at least match the $138,000 or so of the Oselli Edition.

As loud as the sound system may be, the performance is quieter, but everyone knows that the original, compact Mini body can entertain at low speeds. The 1.3-liter engine produces just 83 horsepower and 98 lb-ft of torque, and the 0-62 mph time is 8.9 seconds. While we expect most of the 60 examples to be sold to British customers, here's hoping that at least a handful of Americans snap up this ultra-cool Mini.
