And no, this isn't a Ferrari road car.
Owning and driving a Ferrari road car is one thing, but it’s a completely different experience owning a Ferrari race car. In the case of a guy named Steven Read, himself a former pro skier (i.e. speed freak), owning and driving a retired race car is unlike anything else. He’s the proud owner of the Ferrari 312PB, the last new car developed by the Italian carmaker specifically for sports prototype racing.
In other words, it was the last race car Ferrari developed before deciding to focus all of its motorsport energy on Formula One. The 312PB was driven by a team of hand-picked drivers, and it went on to win every race in 1972 except for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It’s a true piece of both motorsport and Ferrari history.
