The new Ford Focus RS is one of the cars we have obsessively covered over the last few months. Can you blame us, though? It is the definition of a hot hatch with its 2.3-liter turbo-four kicking out 350 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. Oh, and it also has a badass and complex torque vectoring all-wheel-drive system. So, yeah, there's good reason to obsess over it. Anyway, with that qualifier laid out we bring you news that the first Focus RS has just rolled off the production line in Saarlouis, Germany.

Examples are set to arrive in dealerships this spring and they will not be cheap. With production officially underway we should know more about availability, which we're guessing will be limited.
