Although the new Bugatti Chiron has arrived and into owners' museum-like garages, demand for its Veyron predecessor still seems to be high. We don't expect that to change anytime soon. This is all the more true when any Veyron happens to be a special edition or one-off, as is the case here. What you're looking at is the 2008 Bugatti Veyron Mansory Lineo Vincero, of which only one was ever imported and sold in the US. It's up for sale on the DuPont Registry and, not all that surprisingly, its price tag isn't listed.

This is for serious inquiries only. So what makes this Veyron so special? Aside from its quad turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine, it was been given a completely new carbon fiber exterior and leather interior by famed tuning firm Mansory back in 2012. Of course Mansory couldn't just end things with cosmetic touches. No, also added was a new and much louder exhaust system that provides an additional 108 hp over the already insane 1,200 hp. Mansory also included a new steering wheel and mirrors. Compared directly with the so-called standard Veyron, this one also received something of a facelift, thanks to Mansory-specific new front fenders and front apron, LED daytime running lights, and a stylized letter "V" built into the bumper.

The side skirts are also new, as are the larger air outlets at the rear. Even the modified sides of the car improve engine cooling. All of those carbon fiber components are inbuilt with copper thread. A quick check and we found that this one-off Veyron has been for sale before, but we figure some wealthy collector will pick it up again soon. Photos courtesy of DuPont Registry.
