The coronavirus pandemic has forced countless restrictions to our daily lives but there is one bright side: amazing new car deals. Automakers and their dealership franchises have been more anxious than ever to keep sales going by offering some unbeatable offers. Examples include FCA's 0 percent financing for as long as 82 months with deferred payments for up to 90 days.

Although that offer and similar ones have been lifted (though very attractive financing remains), we discovered Ford is quietly advertising its own 0 percent financing offer for the one and only Mustang. You can get a brand new 2020 Ford Mustang with 0 percent APR for 60 months. Like always, only qualified buyers are eligible, meaning you gotta have decent enough credit. It also appears that financing must be done through Ford Credit.

However, there's a catch: the offer does not extend to the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350, Shelby GT500, or Bullitt. It's not the end of the world by any means, but it is something to consider. The good news is that both the EcoBoost Mustang and V8-powered Mustang GT coupe and convertible can now be purchased interest-free. Another way to look at it is cheap horsepower. And lots of it.

The Mustang GT has a total of 460 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque thanks to its naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8. The coupe starts at just under $36,000 while the convertible costs quite a bit more, beginning at $45,000.

Still, $36k without interest for 460 ponies is something that can only happen in America. Perhaps this whole pandemic thing does have a few upsides. Those who don't want V8 power but rather improved fuel economy can opt for the base Mustang whose 2.3-liter turbo-four has a very respectable 310 hp and 350 lb-ft on tap. Starting price: only $27,000.

This offer won't last for much longer and, in some areas of the country, it's already expired. Those interested will need to reach out to their local Ford dealership for additional details.
