The Jaguar E- and F-Type Both Dance on the Edge of Mayhem

Test Drive

The proper successor to a true icon has finally arrived.

The Jaguar E-Type is one of the most iconic sports cars of the 20th century. It has topped many lists due to its overall beauty, relevance and performance. It really is the complete package for everything a two-seat sports car should be. Last year, Jaguar finally unleashed its long awaited for successor: the F-Type. Obviously it comes complete with the latest engineering technology and many electronic gizmos.

The E-Type, however, is much more mechanical and less complex overall, but still as gorgeous as the day it first premiered at Geneva back in 1961. Motor Trend’s Justin Bell gets behind the wheel of both for a taste of greatness from both past and present.
