The LaFerrari Actually Can Run on Electric Mode

Hybrid

But only until it sees a track.

When Ferrari released the LaFerrari, the Italian automaker explicitly stated its hybrid hypercar would not, under any circumstances, run on full electric mode. Now, a short video is here to prove otherwise. Shot at the Monza track, the LaFerrari heads out to the track in electric silence. But as a V12-engined beast, it doesn't keep quiet for long, and as soon as it hits the track, it makes every one of its gasoline-sipping cylinders heard. Is this a new update or just something Ferrari wasn't eager to advertise?
