When the LaFerrari first appeared on its own online configurator, the only colors to choose from were red, black and yellow. Some jumped to the conclusion that's all the colors Ferrari would paint its most exotic of creations in. However that was soon proved false when Jamiroquai's front man Jay Kay ordered a bespoke paint job, opting for a stunning shade of Kermit Green for his hypercar. The floodgates then opened, with the LaFerrari popping up in silver, in white, and in two-tone combinations of black-and-red and yellow-and-black.

These were then followed by another sublime color called Arancio Triplo Strato that translates to triple-layer orange. But the LaFerrari is so 2015. Next year, presumably at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, Ferrari will unveil the ultra-exclusive drop-top LaFerrari. Rumors of a LaFerrari Spider date back as far as 2014, yet official confirmation only arrived at the beginning of May, courtesy of Ferrari's new CEO, Sergio Marchionne. (Despite Top Gear's claim it had broken the story when Gordon Ramsey, grinning like a disheveled Cheshire cat, pulled a key for his new ride out of an oversized wooden box). So we know that it's coming. Of that there is no longer any doubt.

The question now is, what color will the 150 well-heeled buyers opt to coat their sexy new ride in? Thanks Jack Darton and Auto Italia Magazine for the original render of the LaFerrari, which you can find below.
