With every V12 flagship model, Lamborghini eventually gets around to making an SV, or Super Veloce, version. Essentially this means one that's a bit lighter and a bit more powerful; a slightly more extreme version of a car that was already pretty extreme. So the 2015 Geneva Motor Show was the venue chosen to show off the SV version of the Aventador, and it did not disappoint. Fist off, power is increased to 750 horsepower.

The extra power is achieved through a redesigned valvetrain and a freer-flowing exhaust system. Redline is now up at 8,500 rpm, 0-62 mph takes just 2.8 seconds, and the top speed is up to 217 mph. 110 pounds has been trimmed from the car as well, in exactly the way you would expect: more carbon fiber. This brings the total down to 3,362 lbs. Carbon ceramic brakes are standard for this trim level, and the price for Europe starts at $366,000, but this is just the price converted from euros, and not an official US price, as that hasn't been announced yet.
