The Last C7 Corvette Will Look Exactly Like This

And you can own it.

We learned in April that the final C7 Corvette will be going up for auction on Friday, June 28 at the Barrett-Jackson Northeast sale in Connecticut. All proceeds will go towards the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation which is committed to building smart homes for injured and fallen military members, first responders, and their families. However, today we've learned that the final front-engined Corvette ever will be a black Z06 coupe with Adrenaline Red trim.

Barrett-Jackson has provided photos and details and, we must say, it's a fitting tribute for the end of an era. Now, it must be noted that the C7 Z06 you're looking at is not the actual final car, but rather an exact replica of the vehicle the winning bidder will receive. A production date for the final C7 has yet to be determined.

Other features the car will include are the 3LZ trim level, a customer leather-wrapped red interior package, Performance Data Recorder and navigation, and powerful Brembo brakes. Under the hood will the familiar 6.2-liter LT4 supercharged V8 with 650 hp at 6,400 rpm and 650 lb-ft of torque at 3,600 rpm. All of that power will be directed to the rear wheels through a seven-speed manual transmission. Top speed is a claimed 185 mph.

Barrett-Jackson did not provide a precise retail value, but the 2019 Corvette Z06 coupe begins at around $83,000. Opting for the 3LZ trim pack adds another $10,000 or so. Because this is no ordinary C7 Z06 3LZ, the final price tag will be quite a bit higher.

We honestly wouldn't be surprised to see it go for anything less than $1 million. Chances are the winning bidder will directly deposit the C7 into their private collection. The likelihood of this particular C7 increasing in value over time is nearly a given, so it's important to keep it in perfect condition. It will embody seven generations of front-engined V8 history.
