We had the pleasure of meeting Christian von Koenigsegg at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. His passion for cars and humbleness to speak about his spectacular creations at length was an unexpected pleasure. It’s also something YouTube channel /Drive took advantage of when creating the series that charts the inner workings of the Swedish supercar maker. Delving into the making of the Koenigsegg One: 1, /Drive has returned to put the founder back in front of the camera.
This week’s episode focuses on the turbocharging system of the 1,341-hp supercar, which is created using a 3D printer. Amazingly, the turbo’s moving parts within the chamber are also printed using the 3D printer, a process that has never been done before. Check it out:
