The McLaren MP4-12C impressed during its run on the Nurburgring.
McLaren has tested their MP4-12C all over the world and in all kinds of driving conditions. The British supercar just got its biggest test yet over the past weekend at the Nurburgring. Putting down an impressive lap time of 7:28, the production-ready street-legal supercar handled the track and corners well. The McLaren MP4-12C has already been regarded as one of the cars of the year and its performance in Germany has solidified its case as an outstanding achievement in automobiles.
Its time of 7:28 beat the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 along with other such notables as the Pagani Zonda F, the Koenigsegg CCR and the Nissan GT-R (R35 MK2). The video below shows the McLaren, piloted by experienced Nurburgring driver and Sport Auto's Editor-in-Chief Horst von Saurma.
