The McLaren P1 GTR is one of the most capable supercars on the track and the most potent car to come out of the automaker's garage. Thanks to its twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 and an electric motor, the P1 GTR puts out 986 hp. Couple that to a host of go-fast goodies and the supercar can destroy a track day in the right hands. However, the supercar is quite the handful, especially when going around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca's infamous Corkscrew. The corner nearly claimed McLaren's own P1 GTR, which came dangerously close to the barrier.

YouTuber effspot managed to capture the P1 GTR spin out during one of the first private track days at the racetrack. It may have been a close miss, but there's still something special about seeing a track-focused supercar in its natural habitat.
