The Most Stunning McLaren 650S Ever Made Is Now Up For Sale

Special Editions / 27 Comments

There's no way this will be around for long.

Unveiled at the start of the year, the McLaren 650S Le Mans special edition model marks the 20th anniversary of the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans and is limited to just 50 units worldwide. While we look forward to checking it out at Goodwood this weekend, an example of the stunning coupe has popped up for sale with UK dealer Alastair Bols, priced at £295,950. That's a cool £50,000 over asking price. For that, the buyer will receive a 650S with a host of stunning exterior and interior enhancements, as well as some performance upgrades.

Unique styling elements borrowed from the champion endurance racecar include a roof-mounted 'snorkel' air intake that channels airflow to the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 while creating some added aural pleasure in the cabin. Front wings receive subtle louvres for added downforce, while distinctive 'Le Mans Edition' five-spoke alloys – staggered 19/20 inches front/rear – are a nod to the motorsport rims fitted to the 1995 racers. Other style upgrades include a metallic Sarthe Gray paintjob with McLaren Orange highlights, MSO-developed side blades and rear diffuser, carbon-fiber front splitter and rear bumper, while the interior is upholstered in black leather and orange Alcantara with a Le Mans logo embossed on the headrests.
