Some of the things that made the Clarkson era of "Top Gear" so great was the high production value, the presence of the world's coolest cars, and expensive publicity stunts that even millionaires couldn't pull off. Then there was the group dynamic. May, Hammond, and Clarkson had a level of mutual understanding that made all arguments look like charismatic debates. But all good things come to an end, and as the responsibility of holding up the show's values shifts to new hosts we need to see how their dynamic is.
