This guy just added another ultra-rare supercar to his garage.
Koengisegg brought both the Regera and its newest car, the one-off Agera XS, to the US for Monterey Car Week. The Koenigsegg blog covered its attendance there, revealing a bit of info about the new XS: its owner. Do you have an idea of who it might be? If you said supercar collector Kris Singh then pat yourself on the back. Singh has a passion for incredible cars, with the hardtop Lamborghini Veneno Coupe (one of four in the world) and a Pagani Huayra covered in bare carbon fiber in his garage.
While the Agera XS is based on the RS, the two cars are certainly different and distinct beasts. They both share a twin-turbocharged 5.8-liter V8 good for 1,160 horsepower and 944 lb-ft of torque, but the one-off is just a bit more hardcore. It has the largest wing ever fitted to a Koenigsegg and we're assuming the rest of its aero bits are just a bit beefier. And then there's that gorgeous Karosserie Orange paint job. Both the Agera XS and the Regera were at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, and Singh himself was on hand to see his custom supercar for the first time "in the light of day" as Koenigsegg's blog post put it. Talk about making a first impression.
The automaker has shared photos from its time at both The Quail and the McCalls Motorworks Revival, an event held the day before. Check them out and let us know what you think of the Agera XS in the metal. Also, isn't it just awesome to see Koenigsegg head honcho Christian Von Koenigsegg explaining the Regera to interested onlookers? Talk about a real car guy.
