The Italian countryside is one of the most beautiful places in the world when it comes to scenery and, of course, driving. We all dream about being behind the wheel of a Ferrari or Lamborghini throughout that gorgeous land full of twisty roads and hillsides. Apparently there are some Italian car enthusiasts who actually prefer something, well, German. One such enthusiast is Donato Maniscalco, who was just 10 years old when the Porsche 911 entered production. It was his dream car as a kid and it remains so to this day.

Only now he's the proud owner of a 1968 911t, a car that doesn't spend much time in the garage. Not only does Maniscalco drive it regularly, he also takes it racing. With memories of legendary Italian endurance races like the Mille Miglia and Targa Florio in mind, this vintage 911 is right at home in Italy.
