And you're going to pay handsomely for one.

There may come a time when a regular full-size pickup isn't big enough for your truck needs. It happens, and fortunately all three of Detroit's automakers are more than happy to oblige. Welcome to the world of Super Duty pickups and our latest review, which just so happens to be the 2016 Ram 2500 Laramie Mega Cab 4x4. Need to haul more than just a speed boat? No problem-o. This particular Ram 2500 has a best-in-class maximum towing of 17,980 lbs.

Need to haul more than ton of a bricks? Try a 3,990-pound maximum payload. Trust us, this Ram is a massive thing. Oh, and for the record, the Ford F-250 has a towing maximum weight of 16,600 lbs.

Along with its optional 6.7-liter inline-six Cummins turbo diesel, an $8,995 option, this Ram 2500 produces a total of 370 hp and 800 lb-ft of torque. Tack on other options like the $1,695 Sport Appearance Package and you're looking at a grand total of $66,950. Yeah. Seriously. Work trucks are more than just work trucks these days. Special thanks to Folsom Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram for letting us film the truck.
