This sucker hit 99.1 mph.
This is the Raminator, a monster truck sponsored by Ram Trucks. It’s not something that’s for sale. It exists solely because it’s awesome, and as you'll see in the video is also quite fast. In fact, it has just broken the Guinness record for the “Fastest Speed for a Monster Truck” at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas. Yes, everything is bigger in Texas. The Raminator hit a new record speed of 99.10 mph, breaking the previous record of 96.8 mph.
Run and operated by the Hall Brothers Racing Team, the Raminator has also been named the Monster Truck Racing Association’s Truck of the Year eight times. Driven by Mark Hall, whose brother is Crew Chief Tim Hall, the Raminator is something only America could build.
