We recently reported about the Ferrari F12 successor, rumored to be called the F12 M. There have only been a few spy videos of the car driving around Maranello, Italy, but details about the car are starting to come to light. The car should draw styling inspiration from the GTC4 Lusso and will be even faster than the current F12tdf. Having driven a special edition version of the F12tdf, we can say that more power was not at all on our minds behind the wheel of the V12 monster, but the rumored replacement could have as much as 800 horsepower.

The rumors come from the Ferrari Chat Forum where a commenter claims to have information from a private event at Ferrari's Fiorano race track. According to the post, the car will either be called the F152M or V12 Sport, and will have the familiar 6.5-liter V12 with at least 800 hp and 718 lb-ft of torque. It will hit 60 mph in less than three seconds and 124 mph in less than eight seconds. The post also describes the front end as "very aggressive," but said the back end "seems plain" even though the diffuser "looks like it is floating off the back." So far, it has all been fantastic news for what should shape up to be one one the best V12 Ferraris in recent history.

Even Jeremy Clarkson, who always wants "MORE POWER," said the F12 was a bit of a handful. We can't believe that its successor will actually be even more insane, but who are we to argue with the craftsmen over at Ferrari?
