All thanks to its new flat-plane crankshaft.
Everyone may be excited for the Ford Focus RS, but sports car enthusiasts have been waiting for the next rendition of the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350. The new muscle car comes with a 5.2-liter V8 that has a flat-plane crankshaft helping the engine make 526 hp and an incredible sound. While the Mustang has always been referred to as a muscle car, the new GT350 is aimed directly at German sports cars that have slightly skewed off of the mark.
