Jack has become obsessed with the idea of getting the best possible lap time at Willow Springs. His Porsche has been extensively modified in pursuit of this goal, but it's a somewhat different approach to what we usually see in these situations. Jack doesn't just throw money at the car, he's creative.

At points, one does have to wonder whether it wouldn't be easier to add a bit more power, but the determination it must take to work around the power issue is impressive.
