Fans of the crazy Nissan Juke-R 2.0 have something to celebrate. Autoweek, citing a report from the Italian automotive site OmniAuto, is saying the beastly crossover will be put into production, albeit in limited numbers. There will be only 17 units available (or less due to demand) and like the first Juke-R they'll be priced at a premium, possibly around $500,000. If you're new to the Juke-R you might be wondering why the hell anyone would pay half a million bucks for what is ostensibly a funky CUV with a cool body kit.

Of course the Juke-R 2.0 is much more than just a looker. It packs the Nissan GT-R NISMO's twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine pumping out an insane 600 horses. Its top speed is said to be over 200 mph and 0 to 62 happens in less than three seconds! The last Juke-R was wildly popular with the public as it's almost impossible to hate a quirky looking crossover that tops out at 160 mph. The new Juke-R 2.0 made its debut at Goodwood this year and seems to be equally as popular, if not moreso due to its better performance figures.
