A couple of weeks ago we reported on the Volkswagen GRC Beetle, a 544-hp monster that serves as a reminder that this latest Bug is anything but girly. Competing in the Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross team, the GRC Beetle was driven by Tanner Foust. You've probably heard of him. In fact Foust has proclaimed 2015 as the "Year of the Beetle." We'll see. But for now Volkswagen has just released this promotional video showcasing the GRC Beetle competing in its on-track debut in Los Angeles.

The Andretti team further claims it has "manned up" the Beetle with all that added power and track abilities. We'll admit though, it does look pretty damn sweet to drive.
