Last month, Italy's latest carmaker divulged official details and pictures of their debut vehicle, the Opera, dubbed as the 'emotional car.' At the time there was more flowery prose than precise information but they have returned with a new design for the same car which they claim to be 'elegant and exclusive' as opposed to 'aggressive and original'. In addition, they released some firm power figures for their debut cars, which are powered by a Mitsubishi -sourced 2.0-liter turbo-intercooler engine tuned by Terrosi.

Three power stages are available: 300hp and 280lb-ft, 350hp and 361lb-ft, or 420hp and 435lb-ft of torque and depending on the level selected, the new Opera can accelerate from 0-62mph in 5.9 or 4.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 155mph or 162mph. 18-, 20- and 22-inch alloys with three corresponding suspension setups - 'All Road,' 'Easy,' and 'Extreme' backed by permanent 4wd and special shock absorbers gives the car its SUV character, and on the inside clients are invited to select their desired color and skin quality for the dashboard and seats in addition to the instrumentation and other particulars.

Given the 140,000 Euros + tax price-tag, we wish this brave manufacturer well and hope that selling a car with 'the elegance of a dream' does not end in a nightmare.
