At the Geneva Motor Show, Croatian startup Rimac Automobili will unveil the production version of the Concept_One. The all-electric hypercar has four permanent magnet electric motors, one for each wheel, in the the middle of both axles. That totals 1,088 horsepower and 1,180 lb-ft of torque. The Rimac All Wheel Torque Vectoring system calculates the optimum torque for each wheel and uses precise sensors strategically positioned around the chassis and suspension to deliver optimal torque distribution.

The Concept_One can hit 62 mph in just 2.6 seconds, 124 mph in just 6.2 seconds, and 186 mph in a staggering 14.2 seconds. Carbon ceramic brakes work in tandem with a four-wheel regenerative braking system to bring the Concept_One to a stop. The Rimac Infotainment system gathers data from over 500 sensors on the vehicle to display on the central screen in real time. This data is stored on internal memory and sent to the cloud via a high-speed 4G Internet link to be analyzed on the touchscreen or on your PC or smartphone. The interior features handcrafted material for the physical buttons, machined from billet aluminum with a bespoke infotainment system that was developed and manufactured in-house.

Secondary functions are controlled on the touchscreen such as the Concept_One's driver settings. These settings can be changed from calm and relaxing, to a hardcore drift mode. You heard that right, drift mode! Croatia may be the world's future hypercar king. Move over, Italy!

Just eight units of the Concept_One will be produced. No pricing has been announced but expect it to cost over $1 million. Obviously this car is an extreme example of what is currently possibly with electric cars. Hopefully this car will lay the groundwork for future models that can show how awesome electric cars can be.
