The Youngest Drifter in the World is 9-Years Old, Destroys the Track

Drifting

Stavros Grillis of Greece is a modern track-day prodigy.

Stavros Grillis is 9 and-a-half years old and hails from the Greek isle of Kos. He has been driving a Mazda for the better part of the last two years and first learned to drift at 7.5-years old. Watch him kill it in his father's E30 BMW drift car.

Grillis pilots the 1-ton BMW 3-Series E30 around the course at amazing speed. The Bimmer supposedly has 134hp and he handles it all like a boss. The youngest drifter in the world? Maybe, but it's safe to say he is having the most fun. If you think this is young, then check out another article from today about a three year old girl in the Audi R8. Perhaps one day she will become the world's youngest person to drive in the Grand-Am road racing competition.
