Because it's still early in the New Year, unsold 2019 vehicles remain sitting on dealership lots. As can be expected, dealers are anxious to get rid of them and automakers are trying to help them do so. Take the 2019 GMC Acadia, for example. For this month, GMC is offering interest-free financing along with a cash rebate for a majority of 2019 Acadias. There's also another offer that drops the price by up to $4,000 on select models.

These nationwide offers work as follows: the Retail Offer includes $3,250 customer cash plus $750 GM loyalty cash. The Finance Offer is 0 percent APR for 72 months plus a $1,000 purchase allowance, though this is only for when financing through GM Financial. However, this does not include the base SL trim. Oh, and there's this vital piece of information: eligible customers must be current GM owners.

Their current vehicles must be a 2006 model year owned for at least 30 days. It's important to read the fine print, but we're actually a little surprised this is for current GM owners only and there's no mention of any similar discounts for non-GM owners. If you recall, the GMC Acadia was given a much-needed mid-life refresh for the 2020 model year. The updated exterior, most notably the front grille, gives the mid-size crossover a more SUV-like look. Previously, there were complaints the styling was a bit bland and, perhaps, too wagon-like. To each their own.

In any case, the only offer currently available for the 2020 GMC Acadia is a nationwide lease deal of $319 a month for 36 months with $3,059 due at signing. Again, this is for current GM customers only.

The facelifted 2020 Acadia also offers something the 2019 model does not: an optional AT4 trim level, which replaces the All-Terrain Package. Other 2020 updates include a revised infotainment system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto, and a new 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoTec inline-four engine option, though both the 2.5-liter inline-four and 3.6-liter V6 are carried over options. Current GM owners interested in this month's 2019 Acadia deal have until February 3 to take advantage of these offers.
