It's basically never been driven.
If you're a car person of any caliber then you already know about the Ferrari Enzo's evil twin brother, the Maserati MC12. If not, here's a quick refresher. The two are basically the same car, with both sporting a 6.0-liter V12. However, the Enzo is rated at 650 hp and the MC12 is only good for 625 hp. However, the Maserati has the edge in terms of rareness as there were only 50 MC12s ever made, as opposed to the 400 Enzos produced. The simple math is rare plus fast equals special.
As such, whenever an MC12 comes up for sale it's kind of a big deal as you know the price will be massive. This example is a 2008 with only 155 miles on the odometer! The nearly mint condition model is priced at $2.2 million. We've seen MC12s with more miles sell for less, such as this one listed for $1.9 million and this example priced at $1.6 million. The Maserati MC12 currently lives at the Seven Car Lounge in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, so we don't think there will be any haggling over its asking price. You know, oil money and all.
