There's Nothing Like Adding Nitrous To A Corvette Z06

Drag Race

...when drag racing a supercharged ZR1.

Think of this as kind of a Corvette civil war. It’s a battle between two C6s, a Z06 and a ZR1. Now, as we all know, the Corvette ZR1 is a supercharged beast, powered by the LS9 6.2-liter supercharged V8. Output? Around 638 hp. But not this one. No, it produces around 780 ponies thanks to a bit of tuning. Sounds good to us. But what sounds even better is its competitor: a nitrous-boosted C6 C06 making over 1,000 hp. So what’s the best thing to do with both cars?

Race them, of course, and that’s exactly what our friends over at High Tech Corvette have done. They took both C6’s to the Texas Speed Syndicate for a little fun. Two Vettes. Only one winner.
