And it's pretty affordable, too.
The Corvette Stingray C8 is one seriously impressive vehicle and has been so popular that the pandemic and GM's resultant temporary shutdown have meant that Chevrolet can't fulfill every order. If you're one of the lucky ones whose new Vette is on its way, you may have been disappointed to find out that the available $4,850 carbon-fiber exterior package was removed as an option due to a supplier issue. Naturally, the aftermarket was quick to step in, with Atomic 6 Carbon offering its own kit for just under six grand. However, if that's too pricey for you, AG Motorsport has a much more affordable offering that looks just as good.
The kit includes a front splitter and some side-skirt extensions, but the best part is that you can install it yourself in just half an hour, according to AGM. This is thanks to pre-drilled holes and double-sided tape that make this DIY project a cinch. In addition, the kit is considerably cheaper than what the competition offers and is even cheaper than the aero pack originally offered by Chevrolet itself. So what's it cost? Just $2,598.
For that price, you could buy two kits for the price that some rivals are asking, and considering how nicely it spruces up the aggressive aesthetic of the C8, we think it represents great value.
Fortunately, AG Motorsport is locally based, so shipping in the lower 48 states won't cost you a cent. Of course, this all hinges on you having a C8 Stingray in the first place, but if you haven't got your hands on one yet, some pristine examples are popping up on auction. If you're not in too much of a hurry to enhance your C8's looks, you may be interested in waiting for AGM to release it full-carbon wing that is also intended to look like a factory option. There's no word yet on what the wing will cost, but it is expected to be available in the fall.
