There are a lot of reasons to love the Polestar 2. The Swedish automaker's first EV looks great and stands out on the road next to the more common Tesla Model 3. It also has arguably the best infotainment system in the business powered by Android, and Polestar's experience with tuning Volvos means the electric sedan handles and performs like a sports car. And now there's another reason to love the Polestar 2: it now comes with two years of complimentary free fast charging.
Polestar is offering up to 30 minutes of free fast charging for two years at all Electrify America charging stations to make owning an EV more affordable.
The offer is available for new orders as well as existing owners of the Polestar 2. Using a unique enrolment code, drivers will be able to access the free charging offer on Electrify America's mobile app from late October. Existing owners will also be sent an enrolment code or they can get one from a Polestar Space retailer.

"Polestar is working continuously to provide customers with substantial new benefits throughout their ownership journey. This offer takes the stress and costs out of charging your Polestar 2."
For the 2022 model year, the entry-level Polestar 2 offers a longer EPA-rated 265-mile range. This variant is powered by a single electric motor generating 231 horsepower and starts at $45,900 before federal tax incentives are applied. Starting at $49,900, the Polestar 2 Dual Motor, on the other hand, has a combined 408 hp and an EPA-rated range of 245 miles. 0-60 mph in the more powerful Polestar 2 Dual Motor takes just 4.5 seconds. Using a 150-kW DC fast charger, the battery can recharge from 10-80 percent in 40 minutes.
