And time is running out.
We've known for months Chevrolet has been working overtime to sell off remaining C7 Corvettes. Although we don't have a precise figure as to how many unsold units are left, it appears Chevy's discount efforts have been paying off. How so? There's only one current discount offer for the C7 this month. What's more, it's only for the C7 Z06. The base Stingray, Grand Sport, and ZR1 currently have no nationwide offers, but the Z06 deal is actually very good. The offer for the 2019 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is a $6,338 price cut below MSRP plus a $2,000 cash allowance for a total of $8,338 in savings. The Z06 coupe begins at $81,995 while the convertible can be had from $86,495.
However, the example price provided online is based on a Corvette Z06 with an MSRP of $96,425.
More than likely this means there are fewer Z06s still around and those that are likely to be well-equipped. As always, it's important to shop around and get price quotes from more than one dealership. There could still be unadvertised discounts available that you'll only find out about when speaking with a sales representative. Another important factor to remember is that dealerships pay interest on the vehicles sitting on their lots, so anything left unsold from the previous model year quickly becomes a financial burden. Bear that in mind when negotiating.
While this offer is not quite as generous as the almost unheard of $9,404 discount last November, it doesn't appear to come with a catch: a loyalty bonus.
You see, November's offer had a $3,000 loyalty bonus factored in, so if you weren't already a Corvette owner, the total discount came to just $6,404. Even if you have to pay nearly $90,000 for a new Z06 this month, it's still one of the cheapest ways to get a lot of power and performance for the money.
With a total of 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque courtesy of its LT4 supercharged 6.2-liter V8, you're looking at supercar stats for less than $100k. If you're interested, the current offer expires on February 3.
