Ferrari has just released its online configurator for the new 488 GTB, which means that we have our first chance to see just how wild the company will get with its ultra-expensive extras. On the wheels alone, potential buyers have choices like Ferrari's new 20-inch forged diamond rims and the option of having entirely carbon-fiber hub caps. Continuing on its theme of offering virtually everything in carbon fiber, those who plan to take delivery of this exciting new supercar can get "the front wing in carbon" or even a "carbon underdoor cover."

On the interior, customers can pay extra to have the Ferrari logo stitched on the headrests in any color. Also available in your color of choice is the 488 GTB's leather-wrapped fire extinguisher and leather suit carrier. Just how much can one expect to pay for these niceties? Well, the Italian automaker hasn't released any official numbers yet, but if this Ferrari is anything like the other members of its family, you might be able to buy a new Honda Accord (or 10) for the price of all that extra leather and carbon-fiber. Based on Ferrari's current line-up, we won't be surprised if we end up seeing something reminiscent of the $3,533 carbon-fiber cupholder available as an option on the F12.
