The BMW i8 is a futuristic sports car that's fun to drive and fuel-efficient. However, with its 1.5-liter three-cylinder motor and electric motor, the i8 is only good for 357 hp, which isn't exactly the most powerful sports car ever made. To give the i8 a more respectable amount of power, Gabura Racing Technologies took the twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 out of the BMW M6 and is planning to stuff it into the i8. Yeah, that sounds like an incredible idea, but it gets even better because Alpina is going to tune the beastly V8 to a whopping 800 hp.

The German turning company specializes in racing transmissions, but that hasn't stopped them from concocting the ultimate sports car by stuffing a 560-hp V8 into the stunningly gorgeous i8. While 560 hp is more than enough for a sports car, Gabura Racing Technologies is teaming up with Alpina to tune the monstrous 4.4-liter V8 to make supercar performance with 800 hp. To handle the increase in performance, the i8 will be fitted with a six-speed sequential transmission. Gabura Racing Technologies hasn't finished the project, but has captured everyone's attention with this heroic supercar. What could possible go wrong?
