Just last week, Brabus transformed the Mercedes-AMG G63 S into an 800-horsepower monster. Now, the renowned German tuner has turned its attention to the rugged Mercedes-AMG G63 SUV with two new limited-edition models dubbed the Brabus Black Ops 800 and the Brabus Shadow 800.

The Black Ops 800 has debuted on Sylt Island in the North Sea as part of the Brabus VIP Summer Tour 2019, while the Shadow 800 will be shown for the first time at the Top Marques 2019 in Monaco. Both high-performance off-roaders are limited to just 10 units each and feature supercar levels of performance.

At the heart of both models is the tuner's 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 modified to produce an impressive 800 hp and 737 lb-ft of torque. With this engine under the hood, the SUVs can reach 0-62 mph in just 4.1 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited to 240 km/h. Both special models are equipped with a widebody kit and ride on 23-inch Brabus "Platinum Edition" hi-tech forged wheels. To distinguish them, both models feature a unique exterior color scheme and leather interior design.

As the name suggests, the Black Ops 800 sports an all-black glossy paint finish mixed with subtle elements and red wheels to match the interior. The black brake calipers are also fitted with Brabus logos painted in red, while the widebody kit adds an extra four inches of width and a new front and rear fascia, giving the off-roader a more menacing look. Other exterior highlights include two red struts in the radiator grille, a hood scoop and an LED light unit above the windshield, which all sport a glossy naked-carbon finish. The off-roader's supercar performance is complemented with a stainless sport exhaust featuring two black chromed exhaust tips.

Inside, the Black Ops 800 features an exclusive leather interior dominated by dark grey leather combined with black elements and red cover stitching and piping, along with embossed Brabus logos on the black horizontal stripes of the seats and seat center sections. Other interior enhancements include aluminum pedals and door-lock pins as well as the stainless scuff plates with a backlit Brabus logo.

The Shadow 800, on the other hand, features the same enhancements, but its exterior color is inspired by the Brabus 500 "Shadow OPS" Limited Edition boat. Like the boat, it sports a special 'Gunmetal Gray' paint finish with contrasting fender flares and a front and rear fascia finished in gloss black. Other visual enhancements include naked-carbon elements such as the radiator grille surround, the hood scoop and the auxiliary LED light unit on the roof. More carbon elements can be found on the rear end, such as the side sections of the roof wing and the center section of the spare wheel cover with logo. Inside, the leather interior sports an attractive combination of black, light gray and red leather.
