These Pokemon Cars Prove That Not Even Gearheads Can Escape 'Pokemon Go'

The game is basically everywhere at this point.

If you weren't a child or teen during the mid-to-late '90s then the whole "Pokemon Go" craze is probably foreign and a bit annoying to you. To those of you I just described, I apologize. The phenomenon that is the location-based augmented reality game has swept the globe and started to permeate the world of cars. People have been using awesome cars to catch Pokemon in exotic locations, but no one has yet thought to combine Pokemon and cars until Carwow created this awesome series of mashup illustrations.

This isn't the first time Carwow has combined pop culture and automotive icons to make awesome art. The site also brought us a series inspired by both superheroes and Star Wars. As someone who has seen all three sets of drawings I have to say that this one is the biggest stretch. There's no way Meowth would be a Mercedes-AMG GT R. But that's just my opinion.
