If you think this old Chrysler looks light an equally old Mitsubishi, then you'd be correct. The Chrysler Conquest was nothing more than a rebadged Mitsubishi Starion. Yes, that means the Conquest was a Japanese designed and built RWD sports car. It even had a (small) backseat. Why did Chrysler set up this arrangement in the first place? Because it needed a real sports car, not some FWD K car restyled to look like one. Chrysler was still recovering from its near death experience a few years prior and the opportunity arose to partner with Mitsubishi.

But don't think the Conquest was a fast car. It wasn't. Blame the 80s for that. But Regular Car Reviews found one guy who's tuned his old Conquest into something loud, obnoxious, and just plain cool – for gearheads at least. It won't win any beauty contests.
